The residence of three generations of monarchs - Dom João VI, Dom Pedro I, and, until the end of the regime, Dom Pedro II - who lived where the Quinta da Boa Vista is located today, São Cristóvão holds an important part of the history of Rio and Brazil. In 2007, it was recognized as the only imperial neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro.

Currently home to more than 300 companies, the São Cristóvão station was developed to serve the Rio 2016 Olympics. In its retail mix, TGB has included a community clinic, pharmacy, food outlets, and a lottery shop, as well as a cell phone accessory store. The commercial space is located at the connection between the Supervia station and the metro, with access to the Maracanã, Quinta da Boa Vista, and Zoo.

Known as the heart of the North Zone and the cradle of samba, Madureira is a key neighborhood for both the culture and economy of Rio de Janeiro.

A commercial and recreational reference point for neighboring districts—Cascadura, Campinho, Cavalcanti, Engenheiro Leal, Oswaldo Cruz, Turiaçu, and Vaz Lobo—it is one of the largest commercial hubs in the municipality. Madureira has 50,000 residents and a floating population that far exceeds this number, according to local merchants. It is home to the largest popular market in Brazil (the Mercadão de Madureira, which receives more than 80,000 people daily and was recognized at the end of 2018 as Intangible Heritage of the State of Rio de Janeiro) and the third-largest park in the city (Parque Madureira).

The Madureira station serves not only those catching the train but also those in transit. A particularly notable aspect is that the mezzanine serves as a continuation of the pedestrian area.

For a long time, Campo Grande has been considered the region of Rio with the greatest potential for growth. Due to its location at the edge of the municipality, it has benefited, since the founding of Rio, from roads that cross its vast plain of more than 100 square kilometers.

Surrounded by mountains by the Guandu River basin, it borders Paciência, Cosmos, and Inhoaíba; Guaratiba, Vargem Grande, and Jacarepaguá; Senador Camará, Senador Vasconcelos, Santíssimo, and Bangu; in addition to Nova Iguaçu, in the Baixada Fluminense.

Located 45 kilometers from the city center, it has 328,370 inhabitants - mostly middle class - according to the 2010 Census, being considered the most populous neighborhood in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro. The shops in Campo Grande are not restricted to the station. Of the 20 shops, only one is located on the mezzanine. All the others are situated away from the train line, facing the street.

The Central Station of Brazil, which displays the world's largest four-faced clock and lent its facilities, its history, its everyday characters, and its name to what is considered one of the best Brazilian films of all time.

In 1999, Central Station of Brazil won several awards and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and for the Best Actress statuette for Fernanda Montenegro.

Through the station, which connects with the Rio Metro and receives five branches from Supervia, over 600,000 people pass daily. This number is higher than the population of 99% of Brazilian municipalities.
